Job summary

Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn is seeking a Design Intern in Atlanta to assist the design teams across the product development lifecycle. You will help coordinate samples, input and update tech packs in our PLM system, and support daily design department needs in a fast-paced environment.

The hourly, non-exempt internship offers exposure to both Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn design processes, with opportunities to grow skills in product presentation, boards, and sample coordination.

WHAT IS THE JOB?

As the Design Intern, you will work closely with the SM & AM Design teams to assist with tasks related to the entire product development lifecycle. You will help coordinate, track, and organize product samples, input/update tech packs within our PLM system, and assist with the daily needs/responsibilities of the design department. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Prepping samples (measuring, inspecting, pressing).
• Assisting with prep for presentations (pulling samples, steaming samples, help with pulling together boards, etc.).
• Helping to organize sample library (by style category).
• Work within our PLM system to assist in updating tech packs, specs, & trims.
• Prepping Design Boards.
• Organizing Files.
• Sample Coordination.
• Assisting with product quality issue remediation.

WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIALS?
