Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Design Integration Manager in Otsego, MN to lead and coordinate preconstruction management activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and at least 8 years' experience in complex construction projects.

Responsibilities include managing project budgeting and scheduling, overseeing multidisciplinary design tasks, facilitating permitting, and developing risk management strategies. Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in design build or complex construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design efforts.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead all preconstruction management activities including budgeting and scheduling.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design efforts ensuring project requirements are met.
• Facilitate permitting processes at federal, state, and local levels.
• Identify and manage project risks by developing mitigation strategies.
• Lead estimating teams through preliminary estimates and GMP proposals.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance with quality program.
• Develop construction strategies optimizing cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
