Job summary

Emerson is seeking an engineering co-op student in the United States (Iowa) to assist engineering teams with design tools, product evaluations, and valve construction for critical service applications. You will troubleshoot performance issues, support global sales with technical quotations, and oversee daily order execution while collaborating across functions.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in an Engineering bachelor's program with a focus in mechanical or related fields, have a GPA of 2.5+,

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering.
  • Ability to contribute to a team environment.
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Computer Science
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Sophomore or higher class standing
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong Computer Programming or VBA Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
