Horton, Inc. in Roseville, MN is seeking a Design Engineer to work on-site. You will support new product development, perform analyses, and design tests to validate performance and reliability of engine cooling solutions for heavy-duty applications.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, CAD drafting, risk analysis (DFMEA), and collaboration with customers and labs to ensure products meet requirements. A strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

Requires a 4-year Engineering degree.
Good communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience with CAD, GDT, FEA, Reliability Testing and DOE is preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided now or in the future for this position.

Responsibilities

Supports new product development and improvements to existing products.
Develops designs that can be tested and validated with CAD and analyses.
Performs computer aided analysis of concepts with FEA/CFD.
Develops and executes test designs; documents results and releases products.
Provides technical support for existing product modifications to meet requirements.
Collaborates with customers, vendors, and team to resolve issues on site.
