Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking an experienced aerospace design engineer to contribute to the NPI team. You will produce 3D and 2D aircraft drawings, review designs, and develop concepts for structural interfaces while supporting R&D and certification efforts.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design, manufacturing, quality and procurement, participation in design reviews, and solving engineering challenges across programs. A 5+ year aerospace background is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technologist level in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years aerospace experience.
  • Strong knowledge of industry specifications and processes.
  • Experience with Catia, 3DExperience and other CAD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and outside the box thinker.
  • Enjoys coaching and teaching and has solid collaborative skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient at learning new tools and new software.
  • A passion for all that is aerospace.

Responsibilities

You will also be involved in R&D activities, new product development and anything else along the path of developing and efficiently designing the aircraft.

Compensation

Compensation: $80,000 — $110,000 USD
