Job summary

Morgan Olson LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to develop 3D/2D designs using SolidWorks for current and new van body products. The role involves creating detailed drawings and collaborating with a team across development, testing, and manufacturing.

The position emphasizes updating designs, integrating new technologies, and ensuring designs meet specifications while supporting quality assurance and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of recent Design/CAD experience required.
• SolidWorks experience highly preferred.
• SolidWorks Professional Certifications a plus.
• Design/Engineering degree preferred.
• Experience with JD Edwards ERP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create designs and detail drawings independently or with a team using SolidWorks.
• Ensure designs meet required specifications.
• May assist in building prototypes for testing and approval.
• Make modifications or integrate improvements to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to meet standards and with sales/customers on specs.
• Assist in creating and improving company-wide process documentation.
• Support PPS team efforts and adhere to quality policy and safety policies.
