Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• 0–8 years of work experience; gear motors and drives a plus.
• Ability to interpret complex instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form.
• Solid computer skills include MS Office and CAD/CAE tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates the design and release to production of products, meeting customer needs.
• Analyzes and interprets engineering data for new products and changes.
• Assists with tooling, feasibility of manufacture, labor and material cost estimates.
• Develops and presents technical information for strategic planning.
• Recommends resources to enhance product performance and resolve issues.
• Plans and conducts experimental test programs and analyzes results.
• Works with production and engineering staff to solve design/manufacturing problems.
• Coordinates with other engineers to ensure project completion.
