Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking a Design Engineer to contribute to municipal infrastructure projects such as streets, water/wastewater systems, and utilities. You will develop design deliverables, use BIM/CAD tools, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure quality and timely results.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited program, is proficient with BIM/CAD software, and demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.

You will work on municipal projects such as streets, intersections, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, stormwater drainage, public utilities, and other community infrastructure improvements.
The Design Engineer will be responsible for design on multiple projects, working with other design disciplines internal and external to PEC to develop engineering solutions for PEC’s Clients. This position will be responsible for preparing design deliverables for a variety of projects while maintaining PEC’s standard of excellence. This position utilizes BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based calculations.

Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines. At times, bending, reaching, standing, and walking may be required.
