Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Thermal Design Engineer on a contract/full-time onsite basis in the United States.

You will design HVAC, thermal management, and ventilation systems for data centers and power modules, and develop mechanical layouts. You will produce detailed drawings in AutoCAD, review specs, support CFD, and coordinate with structural and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering.
• Relevant experience in thermal and ventilation system design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, mechanical layouts, and equipment integration.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Autodesk and construction drawing interpretation.
• Ability to review equipment specifications and prepare detailed engineering drawings.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-functional engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual and detailed HVAC, thermal management, and ventilation systems for data centers and power modules.
• Develop mechanical equipment layouts, integration drawings, cable management systems, and fire suppression layouts.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD/Autodesk tools.
• Interpret construction drawings, equipment specifications, and technical documentation.
• Review and approve mechanical product submittals and support CFD analysis.
• Coordinate with structural and electrical engineering teams on mechanical integration and facility design.
• Research thermal technologies, data center equipment, and construction methods to support engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support for mechanical systems and resolve engineering design-related issues.
