Job summary

Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer in Grand Rapids, MN to develop and apply engineering methods for mechanical, structural, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities include designing, validating and testing components, documenting with Creo and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in Creo and Windchill, and a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Agriculture Engineering.
• 1–5 years of mechanical system design experience.
• Proficient with Creo and Windchill; experience with ANSYS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate mechanical, structural, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Develop concepts from design to market release.
• Create models, assemblies and drawings in Creo; document designs.
