Qualifications

• 3+ years of design engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• CATIA/SolidWorks knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering principles to develop optimized product designs.
• Assist in development and maintenance of project schedules with plans, milestones and risks.
• Manage program issues and risks with parallel paths and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with departments to align with project scope and schedules.
• Use Root Cause Analysis to identify underlying causes of inefficiencies or defects.
• Monitor impact of changes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Document outcomes of continuous improvement projects (cost savings, efficiency, quality).
• Develop solutions that adhere to LEAN/Six Sigma and DFMA principles.
• Use 3D CAD to prototype concepts for communications across departments.
• Analyze product applications and investigate customer/field problems.
