BKF is seeking a Design Engineer in the California Bay Area with 0-3 years of civil infrastructure design experience. You will support land development projects, collaborating with seasoned engineers to create designs from concept through construction documentation using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications include a California E.I.T. (preferred), ABET‑accredited BS in Civil Engineering, and a proactive mindset.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in site development and civil design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and public agency standards.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in designing site plans for residential, commercial, and public works projects.
• Prepare grading and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Develop plans for water distribution and wastewater systems per standards.
• Participate in design reviews and project scheduling.
• Prepare engineering reports and cost estimates for proposals.
