Job summary

Aalberts Integrated Piping Systems Americas is seeking a Design Engineer II to lead development of electromechanical valve products, integrating actuators, sensors, and embedded controls. You will create 3D models, schematics, and Bills of Materials, and work with product management, manufacturing, and QA to bring concepts to production.

This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Three or more years of experience developing electromechanical or industrial products.
• Experience integrating electrical, electronic, or electromechanical components into commercial or industrial products.
• Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, electrical schematics, electromechanical integration, and product development.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electromechanical valve and flow control products.
• Integrate actuators, sensors, and control devices into engineered product solutions.
• Develop 3D models, drawings, schematics, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Support the integration of connected and smart features into mechanical products.
• Plan and conduct laboratory testing and validate system performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on electronics and embedded software-related solutions.
