Safran is seeking engineers to contribute to the development and improvement of products, designs, and processes within aerospace and defense. Work involves concept-to-implementation on small projects with cross-disciplinary collaboration and QA considerations.
You will lead testing, analysis, and validation activities, coordinate with vendors and technicians, and draw on strong communication and problem-solving skills. A degree in engineering and hands-on experience are required.

Work assignments are varied and of moderate scope and complexity. Exercise moderate levels of independent judgment along with general guidance to complete an established objective within budget and scheduling constraints. Work primarily with the development or improvement of products, designs, and processes. This will include conceptualization, basic research, planning, design, testing, analysis, prototyping, validation, and implementation. Draw solutions from both formal training and experience. Knowledgeable of common industry concepts, practices, processes, requirements, and procedures. Plan and perform engineering duties for part of a major project or for projects of moderate complexity. May provide work direction to technicians and less experienced engineers. Rely on instructions and pre‑established guidelines to perform many functions of the job. Provide technical expertise on production processes, issue resolution, and product support.
