Stratus is seeking a Design Engineer to join the Water Resources team in Atlanta, GA. You will prepare detailed designs for water distribution systems under licensed engineers. Stratus is looking to add a Design Engineer to the Water Resources team. This role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, for water distribution systems. Working under the direction of licensed engineers and project managers, the Design Engineer contributes to design accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall project delivery. You'll be required to manage multiple design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and apply advanced design tools to produce high-quality construction documents. This position plays a key role in translating engineering concepts into detailed plans and supporting projects from initial planning through permitting.
Assist in preparing project documentation, including design reports, calculations, and specifications, for review by senior engineers.
Conduct field visits or site inspections to gather data or assist in assessing existing conditions as needed.
Support quality control efforts by reviewing design deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards
