Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower seeks a design engineer to research, develop, test and modify prototypes and fan models according to customer orders, with guidance from others. You will assist in developing models and detail drawings and review designs for compliance with engineering principles and standards.

Responsibilities include designing electrical control panels and BOMs, selecting components, supporting CAD work, and researching new technologies for product development.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical engineering is required.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and Project.
• CAD tools knowledge: SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, test, and modify prototypes and fan models per customer orders.
• Assist in develop models and detail drawings of fans.
• Review designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer specs.
• Collaborate to develop test plans and contribute to BOMs.
