Job summary

Stark Tech in the United States is seeking an engineer to provide engineered drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using Visio. You will review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects and size valves, dampers, and airflow stations for HVAC systems.

Experience with DDC control lines such as Schneider Electric or Tridium is valued. The role requires writing and understanding the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems, along with assembling submittals and O&Ms

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related STEM field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Experience sizing valves, dampers, and airflow stations for HVAC systems.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineered drawings for HVAC control systems. You should be able to review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects. Provide accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using Visio. Have the ability to size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and the like for HVAC systems. Experience designing systems with typical DDC control lines such as: Schneider Electric, Tridium, or similar. Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $63,525 - $84,700 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.

Work Experience
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 1-3 years' experience in relevant field.
  • 2+ years' experience in controls design engineering OR 5+ years as a controls technician.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical circuits, HVAC and controls required.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
  • Must be able to deal with a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
