Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related work experience; Master's degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in various manufacturing functions.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Experience working in a team environment, preferably in a small to medium company.
• Background check, pre-employment drug screening, and aptitude/competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Makes weldment prints and piece part prints for steel fabricated trailers.
• Designs large trailers 80,000 GVW and above.
• Thinks of possible design solutions.
• Researches whether the design will work and be cost-effective.
• Assesses usability, environmental impact and safety of a design.
• Observes all safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned to support operations.
