Job summary

Superpower is seeking a Design Engineer to shape the interfaces used to understand and manage health. You will own frontend details in React and TypeScript, influencing typography, layout, motion, interaction, and performance from prototype to production.

You will work closely with product, design, and clinical teams to translate complex health information into clear, accessible experiences, building reusable components and ensuring accessibility and performance across devices.

Qualifications

• Strong visual and interaction design judgment, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, and motion.
• A portfolio of interfaces you have designed and built, demonstrating your contributions and decisions.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS in production interfaces that handle real data and accessibility needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive interfaces for core member journeys from health results to ongoing care.
• Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate complex information into accessible experiences.
• Create interactive prototypes to test ideas and guide decision-making.
• Build and maintain reusable components and interaction patterns for consistency across the product.
• Own interface quality across responsive layouts, loading and error states, accessibility, and performance.
• Work with backend and mobile engineers to integrate real data and ship complete experiences.
