Job summary

Lee Spring Company is seeking a Design Engineer in Bristol, Virginia, to perform design analysis and develop cost quotes for customers. In this full-time role, you will assist in the design of products according to customer specifications and provide engineering support throughout the design process.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Skills in CAD and strong Microsoft Excel proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience in varied engineering and sales experience.
• Willingness to work additional hours including nights and weekends as necessary.
• Compliance with U.S. export control laws, including ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Perform design analysis of new and existing product designs.
• Develop BOM (Bill of Materials) and corresponding costs.
• Maintain relationships with specific customer accounts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction from initial design stages through order delivery.

Skills

2D or 3D CAD experience

Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel

Varied engineering and sales experience

Problem-solving skills

Education

B.S. in Engineering – Mechanical Engineering or related field
