Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners is seeking a Design Engineer focused on designing and redesigning large agricultural equipment. You will report to the Engineering Manager and contribute to the development of feed mixers, hydraulic and structural components, and related manufacturing processes.

This role requires a BS in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong Creo-based 3D CAD skills and a farm-background-friendly candidate profile.

Qualifications

• BS in Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience designing agricultural or heavy equipment.
• Strong 3D CAD skills; Creo experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Focus on designing or redesigning feed mixers for livestock using Creo.
• Develop and evaluate product designs based on customer needs, manufacturability, cost, and safety.
• Develop design specifications with product management, sales, manufacturing, and customers.
• Develop test plans and direct testing of the design with test personnel.
• Set product quality and tolerance specifications for designs.
• Design and/or select hydraulic, power transmission, and structural components.
• Work with manufacturing to develop tooling and new processes.
• Develop knowledge of company products by attending trade shows and monitoring competitors.
