Position

Design Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring effective, consistent drawings and technical documentation contributes to parts being produced and installed with first time quality
  • Responsible for ensuring effective, consistent drawings and technical documentation contributes to parts being produced and installed efficiently to meet cost targets
  • Support engineers in ensuring products meet manufacturing standards and requirements to meet on time delivery commitments
  • Collaboratively work with design engineers and manufacturing engineers to incorporate best practices for drawing standards
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining clear installation instructions that contribute to product being installed efficiently with first time quality
  • Support in creating & maintaining drawing standards and requirements
  • Responsible for converting and maintaining accurate CAD models to be used by other areas of the business
  • Other duties as required

Education Required
  • Associate Degree or Trade School Certification in Computer-Aided Design
