Job summary

Hartzell Industries in Piqua, OH is seeking a Design Engineer to develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, Drafting, or related field.
• 2–3 years of product design and development experience for manufacturing, including sheet metal and machined parts.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software. Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, PP, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
