Job summary
Raide seeks a Design Director, Equipment and Apparel to shape the world's best running and ski touring gear. From sourcing and concept through completion, you will lead design across apparel, equipment, and accessories in close collaboration with the Founder/CEO and external partners.
You will guide long-term vision, drive multi-season roadmaps, and ensure products reflect Raide's emphasis on performance, simplicity, and mountain-specific functionality.
Qualifications
- 6-10+ years of product design experience in performance apparel and equipment.
- Experience working directly with factories in Asia; willing to travel 2-3 times per year.
- Experience designing technical apparel, not just lifestyle products.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term design direction across equipment and apparel.
- Develop multi-season product roadmaps with the Founder/CEO.
- Own seasonal product line architecture and integration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- Lead concept generation, prototyping, and design execution with external partners.
- Collaborate with athletes and Creative Director on color, print, and storytelling.
