Job summary

Client of Top Business in Cairo seeks a Design Control Manager to lead design and engineering teams, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.

You will own the design lifecycle from concept through production, perform risk assessments, audits, and ensure documentation aligns with FIDIC-based PM/CM projects and multi-package interfaces. English proficiency and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design management/control for large-scale projects.
• Proven experience in PM/CM/consultancy environments.
• Experience with multi-package procurement and construction interfaces.
• Experience on large mixed-use or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills; English proficiency a must.
• Familiarity with design management systems and document control processes.
• Experience with FIDIC-based PM/CM projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and manage design and engineering teams fostering collaboration and ensuring effective resource allocation
• Develop implement and maintain design control processes ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
• Manage the design lifecycle from concept to production overseeing design reviews documentation risk management and change control
• Conduct internal audits track non-compliance manage corrective actions and support quality investigations
• Work closely with engineering operations and senior leadership to align designs with strategy budgets and customer expectations
• Lead risk assessments develop mitigation strategies and ensure products are designed for safety and manufacturability
• Prepare and review design control documentation for regulatory filings generate executive reports and maintain quality records
