Job summary

Watt Integration in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Design Consultant to lead showroom demonstrations and scope multi-disciplinary AV and design projects for client homes and showrooms. You will design systems across audio, video, lighting, shading, and networking, while working closely with interior designers, architects and builders to move projects from first conversation through commissioning.

Your role requires a genuine ear for acoustics, a background in design/AV, and comfort quoting real numbers

• A genuine ear and curiosity about how rooms sound and feel.
• Experience in design, retail, hospitality, custom home building or AV.
• Comfort quoting real numbers to clients spending real money.
• Strong organization; projects run months.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license; client home visits.
• Ability to pass background, licensing, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Host the showroom with demonstrations that let the equipment speak for itself.
• Scope projects with clients by understanding the home and lifestyle.
• Design systems across audio, video, lighting control, shading and networking; produce proposals.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects and builders on projects.
• Carry the project from first conversation through commissioning; stay with it.
• Keep the showroom floor in Bang & Olufsen condition.
