Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a Design Configuration Manager to support US Army programs, focusing on configuration management for military vehicles and equipment. Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer requirements.
• BA/BS in Engineering Design with 5 years experience, 2 in supervisory/management.
• 1 academic year in an accredited Engineering Design related program; 5 years experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and plan/conduct design audits.
• Coordinate with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design/manufacturing engineers in a concurrent engineering environment.

DCS is searching for a performance-driven Design Configuration Manager to support US Army programs. A focus on either configurations management, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. This position will be supporting multiple locations.

Required Skills

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Engineering Design with 5 years, 2 of which are in a supervisory or management capacity.
• 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited Engineering Design related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience. 5 years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Manage design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits.
• Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers and representatives, draftsmen and design/manufacturing engineers in a concurrent engineering environment.
• Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans; Prepare for and conduct major configuration audits.
