Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Design Build) for a fully integrated AEC firm in the United States. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.

The engineer will work with senior engineers on MEP projects, contributing to BIM models, drawings, and specifications across the project lifecycle from schematic design to post-occupancy. A PE license is preferred for the engineering title.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related accredited engineering program required.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is a plus.
• 4-8 years of related mechanical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required for the Engineer title; Designer designation possible without PE.

Responsibilities

• Involved throughout the full project lifecycle including schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and post-occupancy.
• Develop BIM models, construction drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Coordinate with architecture, engineering, sustainability, construction and outside consultants.
• Perform mechanical engineering analysis, system design, and equipment selection for building applications.
• Support regulatory documentation, permitting, and commissioning activities.
