Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
• 2+ years of related interconnect experience, especially with harsh environment solutions or high‑power systems.
• Ability to present complex designs clearly and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Amphenol’s operating programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customers and trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and determine the optimum connector solution.
• Interpret specifications and apply knowledge of industry standards.
• Develop and review new design concepts with the engineering team.
• Assist in project management from design through qualification testing.
• Serve as the voice of the customer for design and project requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Product Marketing to define market needs.
• Present detailed designs to customers and participate in technical trade shows.
• Assist Marketing Communications with technical literature.
