Job summary

SmithGroup Design a Better Future Scholarship supports students in architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape architecture and engineering (civil/structural, mechanical, electrical and fire protection). It includes a one-time $6,000 award and a paid summer internship at a SmithGroup office in the United States.

SmithGroup promotes inclusive design with diverse teams and offers a 12-week summer internship with hybrid work options and an hourly rate of $19.00 to $28.00.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be an undergraduate (at least a junior) or graduate student in a US-accredited program in architecture, interior design, urban planning, landscape architecture or engineering.
• Applicants must be enrolled for Fall 2027 semester as scholarships are paid to the academic institution.
• Applicants must be available for a paid summer internship.
• Applicants should have a GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
