Job summary

CVP is seeking a Descriptive Data Analyst to support the OPTN, translating policy questions into data needs and decision-support materials. You will collaborate with Policy Liaisons, committee leaders, and project teams to document analytic requirements and track data requests.

You will develop clear summaries, tables, dashboards, and briefing materials, ensuring analyses align with approved scope. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for effective evidence-informed

Qualifications

Four to eight years of experience in healthcare analytics, health services research, or related regulated environment.
Experience translating policy or operational questions into clear data requirements.
Strong grasp of descriptive statistics, rates, trends, and stratified results.
Ability to create clear, accessible data visuals and briefing materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to summarize findings for nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary analytical coordination resource for assigned OPTN committees, workgroups, and policy projects.
Translate policy and operational questions into clear data and analytic requirements.
Document scope of data requests, purposes, populations, time periods, and outputs.
Prepare and track data requests through approval, assignment, and review processes.
Develop tables, charts, dashboards, and briefing materials for committee discussions.
