Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board certification/eligibility in dermatopathology preferred.
• Completion of accredited Dermatopathology fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology and/or Pathology as applicable.
• Eligible for Ohio medical license required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide dermatopathology interpretation and diagnostic services.
• Review and interpret dermatologic pathology specimens and slides.
• Maintain a high level of expertise in dermatology and dermatopathology.
• Communicate biopsy and laboratory findings in a timely manner to clinicians.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and other clinicians regarding pathology findings and diagnoses.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional activities as appropriate.
• Assist with education and training of medical and support staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Participate in quality assurance and chart review activities.
• Support efficient clinical operations and a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain professional standards in line with practice guidelines.

The practice provides comprehensive dermatologic care, including medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, Mohs surgery, and dermatopathology services. Providers work within a collaborative environment and are supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Eligible for an Ohio medical license
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills
