Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Dermatology or Pathology.
• Fellowship training in Dermatopathology.

• Current or eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.
• Two or more years of experience preferred; current dermatopathology fellows are welcome to apply.

Job description

Apex Skin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatopathologist to join our physician-owned and physician-led dermatology group based in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

This position offers the opportunity to practice in a physician owned, physician led, state-of-the-art, CAP-certified dermatopathology laboratory alongside a collaborative team of four dermatopathologists. Working closely with Apex Skin’s established network of dermatology providers, the Dermatopathologist will support accurate, timely diagnostic interpretation and high-quality patient care through strong clinical-pathologic collaboration.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dermatopathologist or current fellow seeking a collaborative, quality-focused practice environment with a manageable caseload, modern laboratory resources, and no weekend or call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret dermatopathology specimens and provide accurate, timely diagnostic reports in accordance with established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with dermatologists to support clinicopathologic correlation and informed patient management.
