Job summary

Summit Health Management seeks an experienced AP/CP Board Certified Dermatopathologist to join a busy multi-subspecialty practice. The successful candidate will sign out high-volume dermatopathology cases and provide expert diagnostic services using digital pathology.

NJ/NY medical licensure is required; 4+ years of dermatopathology sign-out experience is preferred. On-site laboratory and centralized services support the team.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible Dermatopathologist with NJ/NY license.
• Minimum 4+ years of dermatopathology sign-out experience.
• Familiarity with digital pathology and CAP/CLIA standards.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of dermatopathology cases with a focus on high-volume skin biopsies.
• Provide expert dermatopathology diagnostic services including interpretation of skin specimens.
• Consult on challenging cases and contribute to tumor boards.
• Ensure accurate and timely sign-out compliant with CAP/CLIA/NYS standards.

We are currently seeking an experienced AP/CP Board Certified Dermatopathologist to join busy multi-subspecialty practice group. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5+ years of experience. A preference of general surgical pathology experience preferred but not required. Join 11 other established Pathologists to provide a wide range of care We have on-site ancillaries including laboratory, radiology, and an infusion center State of the art 50,000 sq ft centralized laboratory with pathology, cytology, immunohistochemistry and now digital lab supporting advanced diagnostics.

Requirements

• NJ and NY State Medical License required
• BE/BC in Dermatopathologist
• Minimum 4+ experience predominantly dermatopathology sign out
• Computer skills to facilitate digital pathology sign out

Responsibilities

• Sign-out of dermatopathology cases with a focus on high-volume skin biopsy diagnostic
• Provide expert dermatopathology diagnostic services, including interpretation of skin biopsies, excisions, and complex consultation case using digital pathology platform
• Serve as a consultant for challenging dermatopathology cases, including inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous neoplasms, and adnexal disorders.
• Ensure accurate and timely case sign-out in compliance with CAP/CLIA/NYS standards.
• Contribute to laboratory quality assurance and protocol development for skin pathology as needed
• Contribute to tumor board for relevant clinical cases

Compensation Range

Compensation Range: $300,000-350,000 The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience, individual performance, quality measures and location of position.
