Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated seeks a Dermatopathologist for our Altamonte Springs, FL laboratory. The candidate should be board certified in anatomic and/or clinical pathology and dermatopathology, joining a small two-pathologist team in a high-volume, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities include diagnostic interpretation of dermatopathology cases, advising on molecular/genetic testing, and contributing to QC/QA/QI activities to uphold exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Subspeciality Dermatopathology fellowship required.
• 2–3 years post residency experience desired.
• Active unrestricted license to practice in Florida.
• Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic interpretation of dermatopathology cases.
• Recommend advanced diagnostic testing such as molecular/genetic studies.
• Take initiative to improve quality in the workplace.
• Participate in QC/QA/QI to ensure quality care and enhance standards.
• Provide advice to referring physicians regarding clinical significance of findings.
• Maintain licensure and credentials through Continuing Medical Education.
