LCA Lab. Corp. of America is seeking a specialized Dermatopathologist to join our team in Tampa, FL. The role involves diagnostic evaluations of dermatology specimens while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards. The ideal candidate holds a Medical Degree, Board Certification in Dermatopathology, and has relevant experience in high volume laboratory settings.

Qualifications

Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Dermatopathologist to join our team in Tampa, FL. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (approx. 8a - 5p)

Responsibilities

• Individual diagnostic evaluation and sign-out of dermatology specimens
• Assure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety guidelines/standards
• Accurate and timely evaluation of specimens tested
• Assures good laboratory practice (GLP) and compliance with applicable accrediting and regulatory agencies
• Provide expert consultation as needed with clients and staff, in person, by phone or electronically

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited college/university; Florida Licensed Physician with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology
• Board Certification in Dermatopathology
• Experience in high volume hospital / large referral laboratory
• Organized and efficient problem solving
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
