Sunrise Dermatology, part of the AQUA Dermatology portfolio, seeks a Surgical Medical Assistant in Mobile, AL. You will assist providers, prepare patients for exams, and support surgical procedures in a dermatology setting.

Preferred credentials include Medical Assistant Certification, CST license, or LPN; dermatology or surgical experience is a plus. Training is available to the right candidate, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• Hands-on clinical experience preferred; training provided.
• Dermatology or surgical experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications in medical assisting or CST/LPN are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers in delivering quality patient care.
• Greet and prep patients for examinations and treatments.
• Provide side-by-side assistance with surgical procedures.
• Help with instrument sterilization and keep exam rooms clean.
• Review medical history and maintain accurate EMR notes.
• Obtain necessary consents.
• Call in prescriptions and handle administrative duties.
