Skin Cancer Specialists, part of the AQUA Dermatology family in Georgia, is seeking a Surgical Medical Assistant for the Newnan location. You will assist the provider during consultations and procedures, maintain exam rooms, and coordinate patient information and follow-up care.

Ideal candidates have MA/CPR/First Aid credentials, hands-on clinical experience, and EMR familiarity. Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred. Full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of combined education/experience may substitute minimum experience.
• Hands-on clinical experience required.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Dermatology or surgical experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare examination rooms, stock equipment, and maintain cleanliness.
• Engage with patients and support their experience.
• Gather patient information, informed consent, and payment details.
• Assist the physician with procedures, charting, imaging uploads, and follow-ups.
• Provide post-care instructions to patients and families.
• Complete pathology and lab requisitions and send specimens.
• Travel to other practices as needed.
