Dermatology Senior Health and Science Specialist - South Shore, MA

What You Will Achieve

The Health & Science Specialists are responsible for launching new products, managing business relationships, understanding formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within assigned accounts. They focus on sales efforts and relationship development with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

These specialists should possess a strong combination of customer, market, and business acumen, along with extensive product and disease state knowledge. They must demonstrate strong sales, promotional, strategic business development, and customer engagement skills in both virtual and in-person settings, utilizing systematic approaches for virtual engagement and excellent communication skills, adept with digital and multi-platform tools.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Identify and implement effective virtual/in-person engagement strategies tailored to each customer, developing and adapting call plans based on insights.
  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with customers across various environments, managing call objectives with clear next steps and documentation, using digital tools effectively, and leveraging analytics for insights.
  • Deliver targeted, compliant messaging to drive product demand, utilizing approved materials, and providing insights for new messaging and resources.
  • Educate providers on product value propositions using product and disease state knowledge, and utilize approved clinical information.
  • Coordinate with HCPs and office staff to plan engagements in multiple formats, and deploy Pfizer resources strategically to support provider and patient needs.
  • Support patient access to Pfizer products by providing information on reimbursement and assistance programs.
  • Present terms of sale and answer on-label questions, introducing customers to Pfizer's digital resources like the Galaxy portal.
Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (8+ years with an associate’s degree, 10+ years with a high school diploma)
  • At least 3 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/promotional/sales experience, including leadership roles
  • Proven success in marketing, promotional, or sales roles with strong territory management and communication skills
  • Residency within 50 miles of the territory and valid US driver’s license

Nice-to-Have

  • 3-5 years of specialty marketing/promotional/sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products
  • Experience in strategic account marketing and relationship building
  • Proven leadership, collaboration skills, and ability to work in a matrix environment
Work Environment & Additional Details
  • Willingness to travel within the territory, including overnight stays as needed
  • Salary range: $121,000 to $217,000 plus quarterly incentives
  • Comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health coverage, paid leave, and more
