Formación

• Current active California Registered Nurse License
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Demonstrated leadership and time management skills
• Ability to work with administration and multidiscipline teams
• Outpatient and primary nursing skills
• Experience supervising RNs and nursing support staff
• Knowledge of dermatology procedures including MOHS surgery
• Ability to establish relationships with patients, peers, physicians and admins
• Ability to handle emergent situations per EMTALA

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all clinical activities
• Supervise the clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, JCAHO, DHS regulations
• Provide healthcare to patients under faculty care as needed
• Act as liaison among MDs, patients, schedulers, clinic staff, UCLA Health physicians
• Provide up-to-date patient status to physicians and nurse supervisor
• Perform clinical nursing duties and assist physicians in dermatology procedures
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, triage patient calls and messages
• Provide health education to patients and families
