Job summary

VCU Health's Dermatology Clinic at Stony Point seeks a Clinical Nurse II/III to deliver age-appropriate nursing care within an integrated care team. You will administer medications, document care, and coordinate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and CMAs on an advancing patient population from dermatologic conditions to post-procedure care.

Responsibilities include applying nursing standards, supervising staff in your unit, and contributing to a multidisciplinary care plan.

Qualifications

• Clin I, Clin II, Clin III: Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible or compact state
• Clin I, Clin II, Clin III: Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state’s Board of Nursing.
• All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing will be required to enroll in an approved RN to BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date unless grandfathered under previous requirements.
• Clin I, Clin II, Clin III: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) from an accredited program Clin III: Certification in specialty area

Responsibilities

• Delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for interactions.
• Provides direction, education, and leadership within the unit and collaborates with health care team.
