Job summary

QualDerm Partners seeks a compassionate Registered Radiation Therapist Technologist (RTT) to support Superficial Radiation Therapy in our dermatology practice. This part-time role (20 hours/week) involves operating SRT equipment, preparing rooms, educating patients, and documenting treatments in the EMR within a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has ARRT RT(T) certification, a qualifying radiation therapy education, and BLS; dermatology or oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program required.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)) required.
• Current state licensure, where applicable, and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Experience in dermatology, oncology, or superficial radiation therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer superficial radiation therapy treatments per physician plans and protocols.
• Prepare patients by reviewing plans, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort.
• Operate and maintain SRT equipment safely and effectively.
• Verify patient identity, site, dosage, and orders prior to treatment.
• Document treatments and patient responses in the EMR and maintain records.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with clinical team to support efficient clinic workflow.
