Job summary

Dermatology Consultants is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to diagnose and treat medical dermatology conditions at our Eagan, MN location. The PA will perform exams, basic procedures, order labs, prescribe treatments and collaborate with supervising physicians.

Compensation includes a $150,000 base salary plus productivity-based incentives, with a schedule of 3–4 days per week in a part-time or full-time capacity. Benefits listed below and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• MN license required
• PA-C certification required (NCCPA)
• 2 years dermatology experience preferred
• Proficient with dermatoscope and basic procedures

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive patient assessments; diagnose dermatology conditions
• Perform procedures including liquid nitrogen, biopsies and excisions
• Order and interpret lab tests and biopsy reports
• Prescribe medications
• Direct and mentor staff
• Prescribe treatments including UVB/PUVA phototherapy, Excimer and PDT therapies

The Physician Assistant (PA-C) diagnoses and treats medical dermatology conditions. The Physician Assistant will perform physical examinations, perform basic dermatology procedures, order laboratory tests and prescribe treatment plans and medications. The PA will be supported by dedicated medical assistants/scribes. The PA can expect to maintain collaborative relationships with supervising physicians while also exercising autonomy.

Salary
