The Department of Dermatology at VUMC is dedicated to advancing dermatology through high-quality patient care, groundbreaking research, and exceptional medical education. Our team of physicians, researchers, and advanced practice providers are experts in all aspects of skin health, including complex medical dermatology, dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology, and inpatient consultative dermatology. The department is actively involved in innovative research, focusing on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of skin diseases, skin cancer epidemiology, and novel skin imaging technologies.
