Job description

The Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in coastal Charleston, SC is seeking a general dermatologist and a pediatric dermatologist to provide clinical care. Duties will include providing outpatient clinical care at the Medical University of South Carolina s main campus and/or satellite locations.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • BC/BE in Dermatology, and eligible for South Carolina licensure
  • Academic orientation, enthusiasm for teaching, passion for outreach and research
  • Focus on collaboration, innovation, and teamwork
  • Completed fellowship is preferred

Our Opportunity:

  • Robust clinical practice with a dedicated team of dermatology trained staff including 21 physicians, including general dermatologists, pediatric dermatologists, and Mohs surgeons, 15 residents and 7 APPs
  • Potential to work at any of the Charleston area clinics
  • Minimal call obligation
  • Expectation to participate in teaching assignments and mentor students, interns, residents and fellows
