Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Danielson, CT is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Dermatology to manage front-end functions, including patient check-in, registration, scheduling, and copay collection.

In this role you will verify demographics and insurance, assist with scheduling, and coordinate with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow while delivering courteous service. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Medical front-desk experience preferred.
• Experience with CPT/ICD9 coding is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, physicians, staff and management to ensure patient satisfaction and accurate front-end processing.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance prior to visits for pre-scheduled patients.
• Register all patients and collect co-pays and time-of-service payments; document in the information system.
• Check-out patients, schedule future appointments, and provide receipts for services rendered.
