Job summary

The Fort Detrick outpatient clinic dermatology team is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support care for skin, hair and nails, including acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer screening, as well as patient education.

The HPT program and PA/NP prerequisites apply; candidates must meet ARC-PA education, PANCE, state licensure and English proficiency; mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program; Master’s or Bachelor’s with PA experience.
• PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE) completed or in progress.
• Active, current full license to practice in the United States.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and treatments.
• Provide autonomous patient care and participate in team problem solving.
