Job summary

Monarch Dermatology & Surgery seeks a Physician Assistant to join our independent, physician-led dermatology practice in Loveland, Colorado. The PA will evaluate and manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions, including skin cancer surveillance and office-based procedures, within a collaborative team.

Ideal candidates have dermatology experience (1–2 years preferred) and current NCCPA certification with Colorado licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Current Colorado Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain Colorado licensure.
• Prior dermatology experience strongly preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have at least 1–2 years of dermatology experience, although exceptional candidates with strong clinical backgrounds may also be considered.
• Experience performing comprehensive skin examinations and evaluating common dermatologic conditions preferred.
• Experience with skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and routine office-based dermatologic procedures preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to practice with appropriate autonomy while collaborating closely with dermatologists and the clinical team.
• Strong documentation, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Professional, dependable, collegial, and patient-focused.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer surveillance as needed.
• Conduct biopsies, cryotherapy, and other office-based dermatologic procedures.
• Educate patients and provide treatment planning and follow-up.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and the clinical team to ensure high-quality care.
