Dermatology Consultants of Asheville is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice. The PA will deliver comprehensive medical dermatology care, including management of skin cancers, acne, eczema, rosacea, and other conditions, with procedures within your training.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years dermatology experience, NC PA license or eligibility, NCCPA certification, and strong diagnostic and communication skills, with ability to work independently while

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive dermatologic care for a range of conditions.
• Diagnose and manage skin cancers and precancerous lesions.
• Evaluate and treat suspicious and changing skin lesions.
• Perform dermatologic procedures within PA scope.
• Assist during Mohs surgery.
• Educate patients on skin cancer prevention and sun protection.
• Collaborate with supervising dermatologist on complex cases.

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive dermatologic care, including:

• Evaluation and treatment of common and complex dermatologic conditions
• Diagnosis and management of skin cancers and precancerous lesions
• Evaluation of suspicious and changing skin lesions
• Treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, and other medical dermatologic conditions
• Performance of appropriate dermatologic procedures within the PA's training and scope of practice
• Biopsy and management of suspicious skin lesions
• Patient education regarding skin cancer prevention, sun protection, and treatment plans
• Follow-up and ongoing management of established dermatology patients
• Collaboration with the supervising dermatologist on complex cases and treatment decisions
