Dermatology Consultants of Asheville is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our dermatology practice in Asheville, NC. The PA will deliver medical dermatology care and assist during Mohs surgery.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in dermatology, a North Carolina PA license or eligibility, and NCCPA certification, with strong clinical assessment and communication skills. The role emphasizes independent work while collaborating closely with the supervising dermatologist

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and treat common and complex dermatologic conditions.
• Diagnose and manage skin cancers and precancerous lesions.
• Evaluate suspicious and changing skin lesions.
• Treat acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, dermatitis and other medical dermatologic conditions.
• Perform dermatologic procedures within the PA's training and scope of practice.
• Biopsy and manage suspicious skin lesions.
• Educate patients regarding skin cancer prevention and sun protection and treatment plans.
• Follow-up and ongoing management of established dermatology patients.
• Collaborate with the supervising dermatologist on complex cases and treatment decisions.

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive dermatologic care, including:

• Evaluation and treatment of common and complex dermatologic conditions
• Diagnosis and management of skin cancers and precancerous lesions
• Evaluation of suspicious and changing skin lesions
• Treatment of acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, and other medical dermatologic conditions
• Performance of appropriate dermatologic procedures within the PA's training and scope of practice
• Biopsy and management of suspicious skin lesions
• Patient education regarding skin cancer prevention, sun protection, and treatment plans
• Follow-up and ongoing management of established dermatology patients
• Collaboration with the supervising dermatologist on complex cases and treatment decisions
